THE AUBERGE

The Coopérative de solidarité Auberge de Jeunesse Petite-Nation, a non-profit organization, was founded to set up and run the only youth hostel in Papineau regional county municipality.

The Auberge hopes to contribute to the Petite-Nation areas’s tourism development by working in partnership with various ecotourism, agricultural, social and cultural businesses to provide accommodation and activities. The Auberge offers bike, snowshoe and cross-country ski rental.

The co-op is a social enterprise that intends to create jobs in a stimulating and enriching environment. Our work insertion program will also provide training opportunities for disadvantaged young adults in the region.

The project’s global objective is to create a model of sustainable development.
